GUITAR / KEYBOARD TECH/ STAGE MANAGER

  • Objective: To obtain a position that will allow me to utilize my experience and hands-on familiarity with guitar, amps, switching, and pedal trouble shooting skills on tour, or in the studio. AND make a few bucks along the way!
  • Experience: MANY years as a National touring technician and working with local bands, and unions.  AND, I KNOW MIDI!!!
  • Work Experience: I have worked with Fred Saunders Productions, out of L.A., California, up to the Bay area working with B.G.P., and even gone to the East coast to work for Backstage Productions, out of Miami, Florida.
  • Personal Summary: With my experience, and just being a pretty cool guy, I could be an asset to any touring crew, and being around this industry for several years as a local stagehand, I know what needs to be done, and how to do it. I am not too afraid of a budget, just be nice!!
  • Equipment: I usually only use my  Turbo-Tuner, PETERSON, CONN or tuners.    Passport is active.   In addition, I have my own workbox for touring.

·         Check this out: For the last few years, I have been working in Guitar Centers on the West coast, as a primary “In-House”, guitar tech. As well as owning and running my own business, Strings & Solder, based out of Portland, and expanded to San Jose, and Chico, California.

I have worked on numerous artists’ guitars, such as: Lou Reed, Robby Krieger, Al Pitrelli, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Earl Slick, T.M. Stevens, AL Jourgensen, Alex Skolnick, Marty Friedman, Jesse Tobias, Pat Lachman and Buck Dharma.

I have been touring for many years with such bands as: Social Distortion, The GO-GO's, MINISTRY, The Doors, The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michelle Branch, Five for Fighting, Halford, Helmet, Prong, Papa Roach, Third Eye Blind, The Calling, Fall Out Boy, Blue Oyster Cult, The Romantics, Vanilla Fudge, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Joss Stone, Vicious Rumors, an so on, an so forth.
